To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use encryption methods that reflect the current state of the art (e.g. SSL/TLS) via HTTPS.
If you contact us by email or via the contact form on this site, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your request and any follow-up questions.
If you book a plan for one of our apps directly with us, we process the billing details you submit: company, contact person, email address, postal address and, where applicable, your VAT identification number, together with the booked plan, the payment status, and the invoices. This serves the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, in particular tax and commercial record-keeping (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). We keep invoices and accounting records for as long as the law requires, currently up to ten years.
We use Stripe for payments, a service of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland. You enter your payment details directly with Stripe; we do not receive them. We pass to Stripe the billing details needed for payment, invoicing, and calculating VAT. Stripe processes data partly on our behalf and partly as a controller in its own right, for example to prevent fraud and to meet its own legal obligations. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in secure payment processing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data may also be transferred to Stripe, Inc. in the United States; Stripe is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For details, see the Stripe privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
If you install one of our apps in your monday.com account, we process data on your behalf under Art. 28 GDPR. You remain the controller for the content you collect with the app; we act as processor.
When the app is authorised, we store your monday account id and account name, the id of the authorising user, the booked plan and the access token issued by monday. The access token is stored encrypted; the key is kept outside the database.
We store the forms you build: questions, settings, design, and the images you upload for them. The images are held on our server in Germany.
When someone fills in one of your public forms, the submitted answers are written into your monday board and are also stored with us, so that the submission can be displayed again and exported as a PDF. What that contains is decided by you, through the questions you ask — it may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, quantities and free text. Files that respondents upload are passed straight to monday and are not stored on our server.
We do not store the IP addresses of people filling in a form. To limit automated submissions we keep a one-way hash of the address instead, from which the address cannot be recovered.
Form content and submissions remain stored for as long as the form exists in your account. Images you remove from a form are deleted after 14 days. When the app is uninstalled from a monday account, all data belonging to that account — forms, images, submissions and the access token — is deleted after seven days.
The app runs inside monday.com, a service of monday.com Ltd., 6 Yitzhak Sadeh St., Tel Aviv, Israel. Data you have in monday is processed by monday under its own privacy policy; we only access it with the token you issued and only to the extent the app needs.
We follow the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. We therefore store your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated here, or as required by applicable statutory retention periods. Once the purpose no longer applies or the relevant period expires, the data is routinely restricted or deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us at any time, free of charge, as well as the right to rectification, restriction, or — except where retention is legally required — deletion of that data. Please contact us using the details above for any such request. You may also revoke or change a given consent at any time, with effect for the future.
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy from time to time so that it continues to meet current legal requirements, or to reflect changes to our services. Your next visit is then governed by the updated policy.
